The clock edits together a scene that refrences or displays a time that correleates to the real time you are watching the film. Therefore the film is 24 hours long and has been showing at the white Cube gallery for one weekend only.
IT feels like all the films ever made continue to exist , every clip sequenced together to bring a continual live experience, and that these times hold all these films in one form. For me, The nature of the clips induces a simulated anxiety upon the audience, scenes portraying countdowns or ticking clocks that portray tension. The narrative becomes beautifully distorted, but continues to make sense as all the characters seem to exist. This collage is the ultimate time based art – work, and i thought it was fantastic.
