For halloween i spent discovering digital installations and performance around brighton as part of White Night festival all throughout the night there are workshops, site specific performances, craft tents and audio visual installations. It really compliments the festivities of halloween, with lots of being out and on adventures that may sometimes end up in a transformed environment.
highlights were – CompARTment a group of artists and makers who were running screen printing, cabaret performances and selling lovely bits and bobs.
The house of the vernacular at Fabrica by Martin Parr
some participatory transgender live art at the basement
and Build Brighton were doing workshops in L.E.D badge making…never got in though because it was so popular.
Brilliant night of activity across the city, highly recommended.
