Camberwell arts festival happens again during June and they are looking for artist to create a trail.
Camberwell Arts Festival 2010
Camberwell Arts are canvassing your art for this year’s Camberwell Arts Festival and invite you to treat the streets of SE5 as a blank canvas.
We are looking for work that can be exhibited or performed in public spaces throughout Camberwell, such as pubs, parks, pavements, bus shelters, shops, cafes etc.
We would particularly like to hear from artists who are interested in exploring group working practices to construct a series of art trails throughout Camberwell. We are able to offer 5 artists/groups a small budget of £500 to contribute towards materials, installation and time. We are also interested in working with other artists/groups on a support-in-kind basis.
Deadline for submissions is Monday 19th April 2010. Please send information about your proposed work, an artist’s statement, images of previous works and contact details to info@camberwellarts.org.uk or kellyoreilly@london.com
This year’s Festival takes place from 19th – 27th June.
