On Monday 9th November i put up some Notices in my local shops. These notices were an attempt to see how location and geography can effect ones identity.
I put my Name, number and email down. I would record the responses.
One week has passed today and i did not receive any replies.
I think that if i genuinely want some responses from my community to construct a character perhaps they need to be less vague and abstract.
Maybe you could work with the fact that no-one has responded to your notices…. How long have they been there? How often do you walk past them? How many other notices have only 2/3 words? Could you work with/enact some of the other notices that surround your notices?
Check out Daniel Eatock – also you must see the Sophie Calle show at the Whitechapel
